Highlighting a page from a grand set of choir books commissioned between 1470 and 1495 for a cathedral at Lodi by Carlo Pallavicino, marquis of Cremona, this illumination within the Antiphonary come from the Feast of Trinity Sunday, the last feast in the book that begins with Easter. Trinity Sunday features an initial B of "Benedicat nos Deus..." (Bless us, O Lord); in the image, the three persons of the Trinity are represented identically.

This product was created to accompany the exhibition Sing a New Song: The Psalms in Medieval Art and Life on view at the Morgan Library & Museum September 12, 2025 through January 4, 2026.
